Tomas Reinholt
Wrote clinical trial protocols before Plenary, and still writes the failure condition first.
Working on now
A merger of two clinical services, where the staffing case and the safety case point different ways.
Biography
Tomas wrote clinical trial protocols before he came to Plenary. A protocol has to say, in advance, what result would count as a failure. It has to say so before anyone sees the data. Boards rarely work that way. They decide, and then they describe the decision so that it looks like the only one available. He does the reverse on a file: writing down, while the question is still open, what evidence would change the answer. He works with hospital networks and community care providers on procurement and service closures. He keeps the firm’s habit of putting the limits of confidence on the page the board reads, not in a footnote at the back.
