Terms

Terms of engagement

These terms cover using this website. If you are a client, the terms in your signed engagement letter take precedence over anything here. Last updated 16 September 2026.

Using this website

The case files, the insights and the method described here are about closed, anonymised matters. Reading them does not create an advisory relationship, and nothing on this site is guidance for a specific board decision.

Before a letter is signed

We do not ask for confidential material before a confidentiality agreement is signed, yours or ours. Nothing is a file for us until a call, a note in prose, and a signed engagement letter with a start date exist.

Published material

Every case file here is published with the client's agreement, after the file is closed. What is not public stays governed by the confidentiality agreement signed at the start of the matter.

Ownership

The text, the marks and the design of this site belong to Plenary. The analysis produced for a client during an engagement belongs to that client, in editable form, on the terms set out in the engagement letter.

Liability

This site describes the firm's work; it is not advice. Plenary is not liable for a decision made on the basis of a case file or an insight published here. The advisory relationship, and the liability that comes with it, exists only under a signed engagement letter.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change; the date at the top of this page is the one that matters. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the terms as they stand.
