Writes most of the firm’s method, including the rule about what would make a recommendation wrong.

Working on now

The confidence section, rewritten so a board can see the limits of the evidence without opening the appendix.

Biography

Nadia writes most of the firm’s method. The form of the confidence section is hers, down to the order the evidence appears in. So is the rule that every recommendation carries a section on what would make it wrong. She came from a bank’s credit committee, where she wrote second-line challenge papers the committee had to read and was free to ignore. She learned there that a paper wins or loses its reader on the first page. She also learned that the strongest sentence in it is usually the one that admits a gap. She is on every financial services file from framing to handover. The other three write in the form she set, and colleagues send her sentences to cut.
